From Trees to Beautiful Furniture

It is impossible to describe the joy of seeing trees that we have planted being milled into beautiful tropical hardwood lumber, and then crafted into beautiful furniture and cabinetry.

milling the logs - click for full size image To better control the quality of our lumber and increase our lumber yield from each tree, and at the same time reduce our processing costs, we are milling the logs right here on the farms with thin-kerf bandmills made to our specifications in the U.S. and shipped to the farms.
With our teak growth well ahead of projections, the lumber from even our early thinnings is beautiful.  Steve is examining 7-1/2 year old teak from a thinning harvest

We have a workshop right on Campo Real, one of our tree farms, to make prototypes using the lumber from the thinning harvests of our trees. Pictured here is a beautiful table our craftsmen are making from a recent thinning harvest of six year old suradan trees.  suradan table - click for full size image
